In the spring, summer, and autumn, there are beaches for swimming,
birds for watching, boats for touring, canoes and kayaks for paddling
and trails for hiking. Discover caves, fish, flowers and furry things.
Treasure hunt in our caves, find treasures geocaching. golf, scuba dive
or ride a horse. Hike the Bruce Trail, take in one of our many cool
local events.
Take the kids to the park or the zoo and push them on the swings. Watch
world famous sunsets…over and over again. Stopping to have a picnic
lunch atop a scenic lookout can be breathtaking.
Be all you can be this winter in the Bruce, there is something for
everyone to enjoy outdoors, with 2400 km of snowmobile trails, awesome
groomed cross country ski trails, great locations to break trail while
snowshoeing, skate on an outdoor rink or in one of are many indoor
arenas, you will have a blast this winter in the Bruce!
Bruce County is filled with picture perfect vistas and host to world famous sunsets, enough to fill your roll of film. Fall is also an ideal time to take in the view, drive the back-roads to view the fall colours. Mother earth created a unique environment for plant life here that naturalists and gardeners are crazy about. From orchids to ferns to beautifully manicured gardens, this is a sacred place for everyone. Over 400 kilometres of shoreline awaits you, from the cool clear waters of Georgian Bay on the east side of the Bruce Peninsula to the warm sandy beaches of Lake Huron. Don't like the feel of sand between your toes? Try a shale or pebble beach instead. The large table rocks of the Georgian Bay shoreline make a great picnic spot for the whole family to enjoy!
