This is my 2nd year as Chair of Sauble Beach 32 annual Winterfest Jan 21st & 22nd.  There is a lot to do for the young and the young at Heart.  

We have a parade starting at 7pm at the Welcome Sign in Sauble travelling along Main St to the Sauble Beach Community Centre where we will have our annual Christmas Tree Burning at 7:30pm. Christmas trees must be completely undecorated and can be dropped off at the designated location at the Community Centre.  There will be free hot chocolate donated by Fretz Valu-Mart. Rounding out the evening with be a Youth Dance with music by Joseph J.  Under 12 will dance from 8pm-9pm and 12-17year old will dance the night away until 11:30pm.  The Chamber Hospitality Suite and the Gr 7/8’s Raffle are also available all weekend.  Saturday Jan 22nd kicks off with Lion’s Pancake Breakfast, Diesel Dan Memorial Road Hockey Tournament Reg at 9:30am Play for 10am contact admin@saublebeach.com for reg forms. Indoor/Outdoor Games with the 7/8’s, Outdoor BBQ starting at 11am, All day free activities at The Cross Country Ski/Snowshoe Trails, Hot dogs, Apple Cider and Suntrail Outfitters, Daycare Games from 1pm-3pm, Sno Golf 1pm-3pm, Euchre Tournament 12:30 reg Play 1pm To complete the weekend is the Annual Sno Riders Dance with the Geoff Steven’s Band always a sell-out and a good time!

New this year the Chamber is revamping its website and is looking for Photos and Videos of Sauble.  We are doing a find Sunny and pics of Sauble contest.  Anyone under 16 in photos must have parental consent for photo to be used, name and contact info of person submitting photo as well. There are 3 prize baskets available for the submissions.  Send to Cynthia at admin@saublebeach.com.
