Our bison farm was started over 6 years ago with 20 heifers and 2 bulls. We now have a herd of 50, with calfs expected in May.
The business was started to meet the needs of consumers who are looking for an alternative and healthier meat source. Bison meat is lower in fat, and cholesterol, high in protein and iron, and it also has Omega 3.
We use and save as much as we can of each bison, including hides, heads, and bones.
We love these majestic animals and always enjoy showing them off to people who come to our farm.
Thanks to Stoney Keppel Bison for donating bison meat as part of the Grand Prize, Adventure Bruce Eats.
