Adventure Passport Hall of Fame
Diane Nieuwhof and her weekend road warrior crew from the Drayton/Moorefield area have more than earned the dubious title of Adventurers of the Week and maybe even of the year. They are completing their entire Adventure Passports on their motorcycles and are having a blast. Most of you fellow adventure seekers have probably already been to Skinners Bluff (Stop # 10) and will agree that it is breathtaking. Well, Diane and fellow riders did it on their beautiful machines. Accessing the stop from the top and not knowing what lye ahead proceeded to depart via the 'goat path' switch back, normally reserved for 4 wheel drives down toward Big Bay. A picture says a thousand words! Congrats Diane to boldly go where no cruiser bike has gone before. They have been inducted into the Official Adventure Passport Seekers Hall of Fame for their efforts. They are well on their way for a chance to win the Ultimate Motorcycle Garage..by the end, they might really need it.

The Adventure Passport features 13 new stops throughout Bruce County. Be aware of detours, and don’t be afraid to park your vehicle and run, walk or bike to find the next stop. There are some extra twists and turns!

The Explore the Bruce Walkerton Toyota Adventure Tundra will be hitting the road all summer long giving away bonus punches, prizes and the infamous walking sticks. Flash the peach sign to get them to pull over, and please obey the traffic laws! Also look for 101.7 The One and the Mix 106 cruisers for your bonus punch. Take this passport with you and visit a minimum of seven different stops, punch the corresponding number on your card, then return it to Bruce County Tourism or any participating Information Centre by December 6, 2008 for a chance to win over $10,000 in Adventure prizes.
