We suggest that you do not paddle it at this time.
Things to think about
- Canadian Coast Guard Approved life jackets, a whistle and a bailing device are a must on all water vessels.
- Always let someone know the route you plan to travel.
- Let your creativity flow while the river flows by signing up for a "paddle & art" package!
- Bring a camera & bring home memories to last a lifetime!
- Paddling is fun, but can be dangerous too! Check weather & water conditions BEFORE you set out on your trip.
Experience Required
Throughout Ontario's Natural Retreat are less well-known and less-travelled canoe routes not easily accessible to the public and the average paddler. A challenging experience awaits the well-seasoned paddler along these less-familiar waterways. For up-to-date information and water conditions, contact local outfitters or Bruce County Tourism.
