Chantry Island Institute offers residents and visitors a glimpse of the rich history, geology and natural beauty of the Bruce Coast. The Institute offers lectures, workshops and expeditions from June and to September. Thursday Lectures start at 7 p.m. June 9 & 23, July 14, Aug. 11, Sept. 15 & 29 at Rotary/Scout Hall on Grey St. in Southampton. Workshops run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 10 at Earthbound Gardens in Red Bay, and Sept. 10, 17 & 24 at the Bruce County Museum in Southampton.
