Choose your amusement: rides, mini golf or go-karts; billiards, arcades or a mini steam train. Step right up, get your tickets for the exhilaration of the day. You needn’t be a kid to indulge.
• Our biggest and best amusement park – okay, the only one with rides – is Sauble Beach Fun World, which features a wide range of rides from kiddie excitement and teen thrill.
• Family Funland in Kincardine has a big and twisty go-kart track with single and double cars, plus mini golf, billiards and an arcade.
• At Port Elgin, families can hop aboard the Mini Steam Train for a mile-long chug along the harbour. “The Station” also has 18 holes of mini golf and a practice green.
• People don’t drive to Dunkeld Restaurant in the middle-of-nowhere north of Walkerton just for mini golf. They also come for the popular Sunday brunch or weekend buffet or other time meal at this locally renowned, family-run, century old tavern.
• Duffer’s Mini-Putt at the Cornerstone Golf Club in Tobermory has a colorful 18-hole mini-putt course with mini Bruce County icons, plus soft ice cream in four flavours.
