Marine Heritage on the Great LakesOntario Lighthouse website

Immerse yourself in the history of Bruce County lighthouses by taking a self-guided tour through some of the best lighthouses in Ontario!  These beacons of light reflect the danger Lake Huron and Georgian Bay waters presented to sailors past. Each lighthouse is a treasure trove of stories from days gone by.

Contact your local information center for a copy of our Lighthouses brochure. Explore the inside of 4 of our lighthouses along the route.

Chantry Island, Cabot Head, Point Clark and the Kincardine lighthouses are open to the public from May to October (schedules vary at each individual lighthouse). Call ahead for scheduling info!
