Bruce County worships trails; it has over 500 km worth! Its most prized possession is the Bruce Trail, running atop of the grand ridge of the Niagara Escarpment. The county’s 156-km-long segment of the Bruce Trail is indisputably the most spectacular and rugged section of the world-famous, long distance footpath. Here, hikers can even enjoy multi-day treks with food, lodging and luggage transfers with the Home-to-Home Network.
Beyond the Bruce are trails in conservation areas, nature preserves, in provincial and national parks, and in a wide smattering of communities. In addition, we have multi-use trail parks, rail trails, long beaches and boardwalks.

Together with Grey County, our neighbours to the east, we’ve compiled a comprehensive database of all our trails. The Bruce Grey Trail Network provides all the user-friendly information you need to explore 65 of trails – and counting.
