The most essential tool for having fun with the kids while in Bruce County is a sense of adventure and a willingness to follow where their imagination leads you.

Release your children from the stress and strain of the modern world by hiking on the world renowned Bruce Trail, or any of the trails that criss cross the county.  Go for a ride on one of our Mountain Bike Park trails throughout the Bruce.  Bring the bikes and try a flat trail, or mountain bike on one of the developed courses.

Chase waves at the beach, and build the ultimate sandcastle, or simply dig to China. Stay up late and watch the stars come out, one by one, or catch a meteor shower in August.

Regardless of the age of your children there is plenty to do. Visit our roadside attractions and have your picture taken, explore a cave, make a craft, or tour a garden. Visit Wiarton Willie, or climb a lighthouse. There are playgrounds in every town with picnic tables and old willow trees for shade.

For the older children there are go-karts and arcades, drive in movies and car shows and car races. Canoe, kayak or try an adventure sport such as kite surfing, stand up paddling, or volleyball on the beach at Sauble.
