Tickets are now on sale for A STRANGE Thing Happened on the Way to the Checkerboard”, an old time musical comedy which will kick off the 2012 Wiarton Willie Festival on Wednesday, February 01, 8:00 p.m. at Peninsula Shores District School in Wiarton. There will also be a matinee performance on Sunday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. This year’s all new show, the third in the Checkerboard Series, will be broadcast live by CHOG Radio in downtown Purple Valley and several characters who have become audience favourites in past shows will be returning.
