You will be amazed at the variety and the quality of the food produced and processed right here in our region. Get the unique taste of Grey Bruce and support your community at the same time! Here are two primary resources to help you source local food from our farms, stores and restaurants:
The Grey Bruce Agriculture & Culinary Map lists 131 local food businesses, what they sell, where they are and when they are open. It is also an excellent map of Grey Bruce to keep in your car for day trips. The map is widely available at tourist information booths and brochure racks across the region
The www.foodlinkgreybruce.com website – the most comprehensive resource for sourcing local food in Grey Bruce with up to date information on 335 local food businesses, plus local events, news, links, and resources on local food issues and activities.
We are working to increase the viability of small farms and micro-food processors across the region by promoting direct sales of local food. Who are we: The Grey Bruce Local Food Project - funding by the two Counties - and the Grey Bruce Agriculture & Culinary Association - driven by members, volunteers and food lovers. Contact us through the foodlinkgreybruce website
Don’t forget that our 15 Grey Bruce Farmers Markets are now open for business – find details of times and locations on either the map or the website.
