Adventure Passport is a Fun Ontario Contest!
A Self Guided family Treasure Hunt with Prizes!
The Adventure Passport is
an Ontario Self Guided Contest to finding some of the most intriguing locations across Southern Ontario's beautiful Bruce County. The 8th year begins on for May 1st, 2012 and runs until October 31st! Download a printable version that you can plan your adventure around or, visit a local Bruce County town visitor information centre and pick one up.
Note: If you have played before and submitted an Adventure Passport you will automatically receive one this year in the mail!
Yes, you Win Prizes!
This
giant scavenger hunt across the County takes participants to points on the Bruce Trail, little
known beaches and nature reserves, to caves, lighthouses and museums along with handing up landmarks and hidden area gems.
It's a contest that you have to follow map clues (like geo-caching) to find locations where you get a hole punch on your "Adventure Passport" card. Then after 7 hole punches (most people go the full 12), you can enter to receive a free "ultra-cool t-shirt" (First 1500 players), just for playing! I'm not kidding, they are cool designed shirts! Oh, and there are more prizes, trust me! Many of the 12 hidden stops are located across Bruce County towns that are right next to Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.
It is a fun packed day trip, week long adventure or even all summer long contest.
Some people keep coming back all summer because there is so many Must See spots to visit across the area; look down the left hand side of this page for example.
How do you get one?
All you have to do is order 1 through our Ontario vacation Travel Kit page or visit a local Info centre in any town across Bruce County. Your friends, family or self love daytrip awaits!
A little more explanation for this Outdoor Ontario Contest
Armed with a contest card
and a Grey Bruce Map (which is free also), the idea is to visit the listed sites and take your clues
from there in search of a black box with a hole puncher with which to stamp
your card. A dozen different passport stops are featured, but the finding of
just seven is all that’s required to qualify for fabulous prizes. You mail in
your card, and it’s the luck of the draw. And there’s no rush. The annual event
starts in May and runs to October 31st every year.
For details, visit the Best Ontario Family Contest website for more information about how to play.
PS: Our Toyota Adventure Tundra truck below goes around to local Bruce County town events all summer long which has a secret BONUS PUNCH! Find us and ask for it or find the punch on the truck somewhere. :)
